Here's how we do it - We read scripts from all over the the country for 2 months and choose the best. Over 30 actors are placed in the roles that fit them well and then we rehearse. It's really amazing how every show comes to together so incredible well. I'm always impressed and honestly surprised that it's so consistently funny, well produced and precisely directed.
I invite people and the first time they don't know what to expect. What they get is a full show of 10 original, 10 minute comedy plays with full lights, sound, music, sets, video backdrop and sold out houses in a beautiful theatre.
Every person I invited who came to a show has come back for the next one. Every single person!
I think it's clear that I'm very excited about "Summer Shorts." I'm also very thankful to the talented, kind and generous people of the Whitefire. I'm looking forward to another evening of quality entertainment and laughter!
