The PitchPlaying the "Evil Executive" with a smile!
Obviously ObviousAn expositional love story.
Dead Pilots Society 2 Add mustache and I'm now I'm Canadian.
Winter Shorts 2015 If you have ever worked in an office, this play "The Temp" is for you!
The entire situation revolves around the death of a temporary employee revealing the shallowness and disconnection in the office through a funny series of realizations during an employee birthday party. Hollywood Shorts 2015 It's truly amazing to be surrounded by professional working actors.
What is even more impressive, is that they are all incredibly nice people; so supportive, thoughtful and generous! This has been such a positive experience during this excellent show. BTW - I'm playing a feline for "Interview with a Cat" by Jim Geoghan along side the talented Bruno Oliver. Just 1 of 5 great reviews! "This fun and often great material is created, performed, and directed by seasoned, working artists from the Hollywood professional community; and spans several genres from comedy, fantasy sci-fi, thrillers, current social ethics, and even a tango with a nod towards spoken word." The Examiner "Home Depot" by Wayne Robbins where the service gives so much more than you can ever imagine! Me and Heidi Appe getting more than we bargained for!
Another great review! "If you're looking for a theatre experience where the atmosphere is charged with originality, whit and and irreverent sense of fun, then look no further." NOHOARTSDISTRICT.COM Dead Pilots Society "Under Andrea" is a funny story with an old message that purposely highlights the stereotypical Hollywood bosses who run big studios. Then throw in some overzealous film school graduates dying for a coveted assistant position and it becomes a poignant and humorous story.
All the acting is top notch and the writing by Ken Levine and David Isaacs shows us of the strength and style of their prior success on television. NOHOARTSDISTRICT.COM Hollywood Shorts 2014 “Jumping The Bride” written by Wayne Robbins is the wonderful story of a man (William Cannon) taking his girlfriend (Annie Wood) to the top of the Empire State Building for a sightseeing experience while she thinks it’s going to be the place where he actually ‘pops’ the question. However, to both of their surprises, it’s not. Innocent bystanders who actually do propose to each other (played innocently by Milia Mae and Paul Lauden) ramp up the awkwardness to a very funny level which leads to, well, you just have to see how the rooftop plays out here! (No spoilers.) It really was a wild comic romp at the end especially between Annie and Milia.

UnFiltered Playing a high functioning autistic man was pure joy.
Bringing the honesty and joy to the performance. Spring Shorts 2014 An extremely stylized piece from wardrobe to speaking patterns played to perfection by (Paul Lauden) as Ricahrd Mulberg and the leggy ex-love, Lorna (LauraLee O'Shell). In classic noir fashion, the characters and their past intertwine between love lost and the murder of a terrible dietician. It seems that Richard AKA "Fat Dick" (pun intended) is on the case to solve the murder or is there more to be discovered like an all you can eat buffet? LA Theater Today
Winter Shorts 2014 Paul Lauden’s costume by Laura Tiefer in "Nature" by Chris Gehrt, with leopard print pocket flaps and epaulets above short-short ranger shorts, immediately helped the audience determine his smarmy character. Trail client Nina Sallinen puts up with his passes for a while, even when his Ranger Roy character points out Gorillas and describes his near mating with an Orangutan he had “flat on her back.” The Hollywood Times
“Nature” written by Chris Gehrt is a creepy comic look at what would be a nightmare of a nature tour guide. Paul Lauden plays the guide who is proud, a little arrogant and has a few fetishes that will make you laugh out loud. Nina Sallimen is Amanda , the innocent lover of nature who is the perfect stand-in for the audience as her reactions will be yours as her trail adventure begins and ends in pure hysterics. Geek Authority Summer Shorts 2015 "No Problems" by Tom Misuraca gives an inside peek at a support group for people "who have nothing wrong with them." As you can imagine, this meeting slowly unravels exposing some very funny problems that are best handled by completely avoiding them. Very Funny and the performances are spot on! Taylor Roberts
Summer Shorts 2014 Steve Korbar wrote "Mrs. Jensen" which is the story of what appears to be an ex-Catholic priest (Paul Lauden) exploring his ‘darker’ more primal side as he enters a bar to find a woman (Toni Perrotta) easily taken in by his past. Toni uses her charms and gales to sway Paul into a frenzy of desire – but there is a twist – no spoilers here – but the two have the most amazing stage chemistry which makes the ending that much more funny and surprising in the end!
