Cancer Awareness Month is September. It's also the anniversary of my Stage 4 diagnosis in 2007.
10 years later I've come a long way. A challenging, exhausting, enlightening journey. One part of my experience I always focus on is what I've been able to achieve during this decade ... Executive produce 100 minutes of high quality content. 2 years in a theater company. Create 4 screening fundraiser events for people with cancer. Act in a variety of movies, web shows, plays, films. Write a very rough first draft of "Dear Cancer, I Win." All while teaching English for most of this time.
Focus on the positive. Work hard. Be relentless. Be patient. Stay hungry. Deal with negatives. Exercise. Eat healthy. Rest. Sleep. Take time for fun. Work harder. Improve. Learn. Don't give up. Be efficient. Be effective. Celebrate my successes. Work even harder. Focus on the positive.
