The stories behind "Bad Kisser!"
The idea first came to me way back in high school. I was hanging out with a buddy who told me just made out with a girl from our class. He said emphatically "she's a bad kisser!" I immediately responded "you don't have nearly enough experience to judge." We both had a good laugh! From that point on I became a healthy skeptic of anything people say. Oh by way, I forgot to mention, the year before I had kissed the same girl and it was awesome!
The actors in this sketch were so impressive the way they told the story through their behavior, reactions and honest performances. This sketch was recently performed live by the Whitefire Theatre for a nine week run during the "Winter Shorts" under the direction of Bryan Rasmussen and produced by Jake O'Flaherty. I feel performing this live really created an opportunity for the actors to truly discover the moments and it ultimately showed on screen.
Kudos to the "Couple" Milia Mae & Max Schlossberg, The "Kissing Host" Jackie Falcon, "Chef Starla" Victor Dante and me as the "Waiter." Special thanks to Aaron Stall (who played the "Waiter" live) and all the Whitefire Ensemble Members joining the fun on set.
