This is a parody of the "Most Interesting Man in the World" commercials. "I don't always drink beer, but when I do..."
The idea was to develop a similar, but different type of commercial. The original was more Latin themed and we chose to have ours more of a West Coast feeling. Stone Beer out of my hometown San Diego gave us full permission to use their likeness. And so we did. Our Music by Skyko had a beachy-sound to it.
We use the same filming techniques, wardrobe and talent. The original had two women next him and we varied on that. He also sat at a table with a red backdrop and we chose a sofa with a cooler color tone in the background.
The camera mimicked the movement of slowly moving in on the characters. Later, their is a close up on the side of the screen where the main character speaks; we chose the opposite side. And that is how we made this!
There are a few more insights, however I'll share that with Series 6 - 10. Or on 11 - 15. Maybe even 16 - 20.
